Installation of the Power Saver could not be easier. Just plug the unit into any 13 Amp socket on your premises and that’s all you need to do.
For a safe and reliable operation, EPS recommends that the unit should be plugged into a wall socket and not an extension lead. The device can store energy for up to 10 seconds after it is switched off, therefore wait for at least 10 seconds between switching off the mains and un-plugging the device.

Is the Power Saver unit suitable for use in a 3 phase systems?
Yes. The EPS 388 model is suitable for use in a 3-phase system. However, for a 3-phase system, only our qualified electricians can carry out the installation of the EPS 388 Power Saver unit. Please note that EPS 388 is not suitable for heavy-duty industrial load or monthly consumption exceeding 6000 KWH.

How long will it take to recover the cost of buying a Power Saver unit?

Q12: Do I leave the Power Saver Unit ‘switched-on’ continuously?

Ans: Yes. The Power Saver unit should be left 'Switched ON' continuously to achieve the maximum savings. EPS recommend that the unit should be switched off during long periods of inactivity, for example, when going abroad on holiday, or if the premises are closed for long periods of time.

Please note that the Power Saver unit can store energy for up to 10 seconds after it is switched off, therefore wait for at least 10 seconds between switching off the mains and un-plugging or relocating the device.
